Rutin may reduce the internal Bleeding (hemorrhaging) that occurs as a side effect of Radiation Therapy.
Rutin may help to prevent abnormal Blood Clotting (by inhibiting a specific Phosphodiesterase enzyme that is involved in Blood Clotting, and by inhibiting Platelet Aggregating Factor (PAF)). [1]
Rutin may improve the health of the Blood Vessels.
Rutin (up to 600 mg per day) may lower Blood Pressure in High Blood Pressure patients. [2]

Rutin deficiency may cause Hemorrhoids.
Digestive System
Rutin may inhibit the ability of Alcohol (ethanol) and Indomthacin to cause Ulcers - Gastric. [5]
Eyes/Vision
Rutin (60 mg per day) may lower intraocular pressure in Glaucomapatients (by improving the structural integrity of the Collagen content of the Eyes). [6]

Rutin may counteract Allergies (by inhibiting the release of Histamine from Mast Cells). [7]
Rutin may inhibit some types of Bacteria - Detrimental. [8]
Rutin may inhibit Inflammation. [9]
Rutin may help to prevent some forms of Cancer (by exerting Antioxidant effects that inhibit oxidative damage to the body’s endogenous Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA)): [10]
Rutin may help to prevent Cancer - Colon. [11]
Rutin may inhibit the of Melanoma (in mice studies, oral administration of Rutin inhibited the metastasis of Melanoma to the Lungs - Rutin-treated mice exhibited an 71% reduction in the number of Lung tumor nodules). [12]
