Description

Skeletal Muscle is the predominant type of Muscle found around the Skeleton.  Skeletal Muscle accounts for between 15% and 40% of body weight and is under the control of the Central Nervous System.  It is capable of rapid contraction and is concerned with the movement of Skeletal parts.

 

It is Skeletal Muscle that bodybuilders seek to stimulate Muscle Growth in.
