Description
Retinol is one of the most important of the Vitamin A compounds - Retinol is usually the “best-fit” definition of Vitamin A. 1 mcg of Retinol is equal to 3.33 IU of Vitamin A activity (0.3 mcg of Retinol = 1 IU of Vitamin A activity).
Abnormally low Retinol levels are known medically as hyporetinolemia.
