 Trigonella foenum-graecum  (Indian Fenugreek, Methi)

 Trigonella ornithopodiodes  (Wild English Fenugreek)

 Both species of Fenugreek are from the Fabaceae family.

 The species used for therapeutic purposes is almost always Trigonella foenum-graecum.

Digestive System

 Fenugreek Seeds may function as a laxative for the treatment of Constipation. 

 Fenugreek Seeds may improve the absorption of dietary Fats.
