Description
Sertoli Cells are specialized Cells located in the walls of the Seminiferous Tubules of the Testes of the Testicles.
Biological Function of the Sertoli Cells
Sexual System
Sertoli Cells contain a high concentration of Androgen Receptors.
Spermatids (intermediate precursor cells in the production of Sperm) are embedded in Sertoli Cells and develop into Sperm (via the process of Spermiogenesis).
