The Orange is a type of Citrus Fruit.

 

Botanical Names

 Citrus sinensis  (Sweet Oranges:  Jaffa;  Valencia;  Navel)

 Citrus aurantium  (Bitter Orange, Sour Orange, Seville Orange,  Bergamot):

 The dried immature Bitter Orange (variety amara) is regarded as a Herb in China and is known as Zhi shi.

 All varieties of Orange belong to the Rue (Rutaceae) family.
