Branched Chain Amino Acids, Isoleucine, Leucine and Valine, are a group of Amino Acids with a branched side chain - the term branched-chain arises from the fact that BCAAs have carbon atoms that deviate (branch from) the main linear carbon backbone of the specific Branched Chain Amino Acid molecule.
