Celiac Disease

Overview

Celiac Disease is a digestive system ailment in which the Jejunum of the Small Intestine fails to absorb and digest Food.  It is characterized by histological lesions that vary from partial to total atrophy of the Small Intestine’s Villi Cells.  It is caused by an allergic reaction to Gluten.
