Zatosetron binds to 5-HT3 Receptors (a specific sub-type of Serotonin Receptor located on Cholinergic Neurons in the Brain) and blocks their ability to receive Serotonin, thereby blocking Serotonin's normal inhibitory function on Nerve Impulses and subsequently preventing Serotonin from inhibiting the release of Acetylcholine.
