5-HT3 Antagonists alleviate Nausea (by blocking 5-HT3 Receptors).
Mechanism of Action
5-HT3 Antagonists bind specifically to 5-HT3 Receptors (a specific sub-type of Serotonin Receptor) (but not other types of 5-HT Receptors), thereby blocking their ability to receive Serotonin (consequently preventing Serotonin from inhibiting the release of Acetylcholine).
