Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) is the transmission of Energy in the form of Waves that have both an electric and a magnetic component.

Radio Waves possess the longest wavelengths (up to millions of meters in length), while Cosmic Rays possess the shortest wavelengths (less than one million millionths of a centimeter).
