Description
Adiponectin is a type of Hormone produced and secreted exclusively by Adipocytes. Chemically, Adiponectin is a Polypeptide consisting of 244 Amino Acid chains. It is also classed as a type of Adipokine.
Biological Function of Adiponectin
Cardiovascular System
Adiponectin may help to prevent Atherosclerosis. [1]
