Myrrh
Description
Myrrh is a type of Herb native to northern Africa and the Middle East.
Note that Myrrh is a different Herb to that used in the preparation of Guggulipid (which is derived from Commiphora mukul or Commiphora wightii).

Myrrh is from the Torchwood (Burseraceae) family.
Health Benefits of Myrrh
Digestive System
Myrrh may help to prevent Ulcers - Gastric (where the underlying cause of Gastric Ulcers is Alcohol (ethanol) or Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)). [1]
Immune System
Myrrh may stimulate the activity of Macrophages (due to the Resin content of Myrrh). [2]
