Bacopa
Overview
Brahmi, botanical name Bacopa monnieri, has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for memory decline, inflammation, pain, pyrexia, Epilepsy, and as a sedative. Animal studies indicate that using Brahmi 90 minutes before learning new material results in increased learning ability. If these results apply to humans, they suggest there may be a waiting period of only 90 minutes between supplementing with standardized Brahmi and experiencing its cognitive benefits.
