Tazarotene
Description
Tazarotene is a type of (topically-applied) synthetic Vitamin A Derivative (Retinoid). It is the first of a new generation of topical, receptor-selective Retinoids.
Therapeutic Usage of Tazarotene
Immune System
Tazarotene (applied topically) may facilitate the regression of Basal Cell Carcinoma. [1]
Tazarotene (applied topically) may facilitate the regression of Melanoma (Lentigo maligna form). [2]

Tazarotene (applied topically) may alleviate Acne. [3]
Tazarotene (applied topically) may reduce the size of Pores in persons afflicted with Pores - Enlarged. [4]

Clinical studies have shown that Tazarotene is successful in the treatment of approximately 70% of Psoriasis patients.
