Overview
Hyperbaric Oxygen is a therapy that involves the administration of Oxygen at high pressure (usually requiring the patient to be enclosed in a Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber). Hyperbaric Oxygen’s therapeutic value is based on the knowledge that Oxygen, when administered at pressure greater than that of the earth’s atmosphere (at sea level) assumes drug-like qualities.
