Description
Purpura is an ailment characterized by Bleeding of the Capillaries underneath and into the Skin. The appearance of Purpura lesions varies according to the type of Purpura, the duration of the lesions and the acuteness of the onset of Purpura. The color is initially red, gradually darkens to purple and fades to a brownish-yellow. The lesions of Purpura usually disappear in two to three weeks. The color of the residual permanent discoloration of the Skin depends substantially on the type of unabsorbed pigment of the Blood.

Bioflavonoids
Rutin (when used in conjunction with Vitamin C) may cause the complete resolution of some cases of Purpura. [1]
