Description

Polymorphous Light Eruption is a type of Photosensitivity Disorder.  It is characterized by the appearance of lesions of the Skin (papules) and Itching (pruritis).  The lesions appear a few hours after exposure to shortwave Ultra-Violet Radiation and persist for several days.  Sub-epidermal Edema can be observed microscopically.
