Advanced Sleep Phase Disorder, ASPD, is a type of Insomnia. Its prime characteristic is that the major episode of Sleep for each day is advanced in relation to the desired clocktime, resulting in compelling evening sleepiness, an early sleep onset, and an awakening that is earlier than desired.
