Assertiveness is extroverted or outgoing behavior involving the ability to put oneself forward boldly and insistently and willingness to interact with external human influences - it involves the absence of inhibitions. Assertiveness is not necessarily a negative attribute, providing it does not involve Anger and Aggressiveness.
