Description
The Sense of Balance refers to the maintenance of stability and specific orientation in relation to the immediate environment. Organs of balance occur at the end of each semicircular canal in the Inner Ear - Nerve Impulses from the Inner Ear are sent to the Cerebellum (a primitive part of the Brain) which governs the body's Sense of Balance.
