Description
The Amygdala is one of the two specialized areas of the Cerebrum of the Brain that are collectively known as the Basal Ganglia. It is composed of Neurons and is a component of the Limbic System. The Amygdala has physical connections to the Primary Auditory Area of the Temporal Lobe.

Stimulation of the Amygdala can signal the Hypothalamus to affect Blood Pressure and Heartbeat.
