Cardiovascular System
Platelets (type of Blood Cell) consist entirely of Cytoplasm and are formed from the broken fragments of the Cytoplasm of the Giant Cells (Megakaryocytes) of the Bone Marrow.
Cells
The Cytoplasm contains numerous Organelles (structures that are specialized to undertake specific functions within the Cell) - for example the Mitochondria.
