Enoxacin is a type of Pharmaceutical Antibiotic from the Quinolones class.
Conventional Medical Usage of Enoxacin
Excretory System
Enoxacin treats some Urinary Tract Infections (i.e. those Urinary Tract Infections caused by infection from Eschericia coli or Klebsiella oxytoca).
Immune System
Enoxacin inhibits/kills many types of Bacteria - Detrimental including:
Enterobacter species
Haemophilus ducreyi
Klebsiella oxytoca
Staphylococcus epidermidis (including Methicillin resistant and Penicillin resistant strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis)
Gram-Positive species of Detrimental Bacteria are less susceptible to Enoxacin compared to Gram-Negative species of Detrimental Bacteria.
