Ampicillin
Description
Ampicillin is a type of Penicillin. Ampicillin is almost identical to Amoxicillin but is not absorbed as well when administered orally.
Conventional Medical Usage of Ampicillin
Ears/Hearing
Ampicillin is used to treat some cases of Otitis Media (where the cause of Otitis Media is one of the Detrimental Bacteria against which Ampicillin is effective).
Immune System
Ampicillin kills many forms of Bacteria - Detrimental (however, it is ineffective against Staphylococcus):
Ampicillin functions against Bacteria by preventing the cell wall of Bacteria from functioning properly, thereby destroying the entire cell.
