Sodium Fluoride

Sodium Fluoride is a form of Fluoride that consists of Fluoride bound to Sodium (28% Fluoride bound to 72% Sodium).  It does not occur naturally and is produced as a by-product of Aluminium refining.

Oral Health

 Fluoride (topically-bioavailable forms of used in many Toothpastes or added to the Water supply in many countries) helps to prevent Tooth Decay (by inhibiting the demineralization of Tooth Enamel and enhancing Enamel remineralization in early-stage caries lesions):

 Recent oral Fluoride retention studies indicate that Sodium Fluoride is more effective than Sodium Monofluorophosphate.

Topical Products

 Sodium Fluoride is an active constituent in many brands of commercial Toothpaste.
