Herpes Zoster Virus

Description

The Herpes Zoster Virus, Human Herpesvirus 3, is a strain of Herpes Virus that is responsible for Shingles.  It is the reactivated form of the Varicella Zoster Virus.

Antioxidants (Synthetic)

 Butylated Hydroxytoluene (10% BHT solution applied topically with Coconut Oil as a carrier vehicle) may be an effective treatment for the Herpes Zoster Virus that causes Shingles (it may alleviate the Pain associated with Shingles and may accelerate the healing of the lesions that occur in Shingles patients).  ^[1]

Glycosides

 Glycyrrhizin may possess anti-viral activity against the Herpes Zoster Virus. 

Minerals

 Clinoptilolite may inhibit the replication of the Herpex Zoster Virus. 

 Silver (Mild Silver Protein form applied topically) may alleviate the lesions that are associated with Herpes Zoster Virus.  ^[2]

Prescribed Medications

 Cimetidine (administered orally) may be highly effective for shortening the duration of Herpes Zoster Virus lesion outbreaks.  ^[3]
