Supplements for Aggressiveness

DHA:

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is one of the omega-3 fatty acids in fish oils.  Low levels of DHA have been linked to increased aggressiveness.  Even where no deficiency of DHA exists, supplemental DHA has been shown to reduce aggressiveness.  A clinical trial involving Japanese students showed that students receiving a placebo experienced increased aggressiveness (against other persons) at exam time.  Students who received DHA supplements were not observed to experience the increased aggressiveness associated with the stress of exams.

Dosage:  1,500 – 1,800 mg per day.
