Description

Psychedelic Anesthetic Drugs are a group of Psychedelic Drugs.  They differ from other Psychedelic Drugs in that produce their (toxic) hallucinogenic effects by influencing the body's N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) Receptors.

 

Toxic Effects of Psychedelic Anesthetic Drugs

 By activating PCP Receptors located within the body's N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) Receptors, Psychedelic Anesthetic Drugs interfere (block) with the normal function of the body's NMDA Receptors (this mechanism is the underlying process by which Psychedelic Anaesthetic attain all of their biochemical effects within the body).

 Phencyclidine   (Also known as Angel Dust, PCP)
