Aromatherapy involves the use of fragrances (from the vapors of Aromatic Oils) introduced into the body via the Olfactory System to induce therapeutic benefits.  Volatile Oils (themselves combinations of Monoterpenes and Sesquiterpenes) are the active ingredients in the Aromatic Oils that are utilized in Aromatherapy.
