The Nose is the Organ located on the center of the face that is supported by Cartilage and Bone, covered with Skin and lined with Mucous Membranes (the Nasal Mucosa).

The Nose is the primary Organ of the Olfactory System that is involved in the Sense of Smell - Olfactory Receptors located in the Mucous Membranes of the Nose detect odors/fragrances and generate Nerve Impulses relating to Smell for transmission to the Brain.
