Western Herbal Formulas

Description

Western Herbal Formulas are combinations of several Herbs that are commonly used for specific therapeutic purposes.  In many cases it is difficult to isolate the specific Herb(s) (or furthermore, the specific constituent(s) of the Herb(s)) that are responsible for any observable properties of Western Herbal Formulas.  Herbalists argue that the various constituents of the various Herbs that comprise Herbal Formulas are synergistic and that for researchers to attempt to isolate the active Herb(s) or chemical component(s) of each Formula is therefore nonsensical.
