Description
Peyronie’s Disease involves the formation of dense, fibrous plaque within the Penis which can be felt in the tissue of the erect Penis as an irregular, hard lump. The plaque that forms during Peyronie's Disease causes the erect Penis to curve or angulate at the point where the fibrous lump has formed.
Prevalence
Peyronie’s Disease affects 2.3% of adult men.
70% of cases of Peyronie’s Disease occur in men aged 50 - 70.
