Overview
Tuberculosis, TB, is an acute or chronic infectious disease caused by inhalation of infected droplets of the bacteria - Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis normally remains localized and without symptoms in the Lungs but after years of dormancy progress to its active form - Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
