Description
The Adrenergic Nervous System is a sub-system of the Autonomic Nervous System that has functions that counteract those of the Parasympathetic Nervous System. Some components of the Adrenergic Nervous System also have some functions connected to the Central Nervous System. The Adrenergic Nervous System transmits its Nerve Impulses via Thoracic Nerves and Lumbar Nerves (groups of Spinal Nerves).

Blood Clotting activity is governed by the Adrenergic Nervous System.
The Adrenergic Nervous System is responsible for increasing Blood Pressure (due to its role in causing vasoconstriction of the Blood Vessels):
