Description

The Cerebrum is the largest component of the Brain, composed of two Cerebral Hemispheres.  The Cerebrum almost totally covers (encloses) the Diencephalon and the Brain Stem.

 

Biological Function of the Cerebrum

Nervous System

 The Cerebrum is responsible for the initiation and coordination of all voluntary activities of the body and for governing the function of lower parts of the Nervous System.
