Description

Conjunctivitis is the Inflammation of a Conjunctiva of the Eye.

 

Prevalence

 Conjunctivitis is extremely common in the Western nations.  Conjunctivitis is responsible for approximately 30% of all eye complaints.  Approximately 15% of the population will have an allergic Conjunctivitis episode at some stage.

 

These Substances may Alleviate Conjunctivitis

Alkaloids

 Berberine (applied topically to the Eyes via eyedrops) may alleviate Conjunctivitis (by destroying the Detrimental Bacteria that cause Conjunctivitis).  [1]

 

Minerals

 Silver (Mild Silver Protein diluted and used as eyedrops) may alleviate Conjunctivitis when Conjunctivitis is caused by Detrimental Bacteria.  [2]

 

Prescribed Medications
