Methods of Teeth Bleaching

“At Home” Bleaching Kits

This form of Teeth Bleaching is performed “at home” and involves the use of Hydrogen Peroxide (1% - 10%) or, more commonly, Carbamide Peroxide (10% - 20%) (gel applied topically via a dental tray) as a Tooth Whitener:  [1]

When in contact with the Teeth, Carbamide Peroxide or Hydrogen Peroxide break down and Oxygen then enters the Enamal and Dentin of the Teeth where it bleaches the stained substances.
