Palm Kernel Oil
Description
Palm Kernel Oil is the Oil extracted from the Kernels of the Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis from the Arecaceae family). It is one of the major oils of commerce. Palm Kernel Oil is pale in color (in contrast with the “red” color of the Palm Oil obtained from the outer, fibrous pulp of the fruit of the Oil Palm. Note that Palm Kernel Oil is a separate Oil to Palm Oil.
