Description
A Gap Junction is an Intercellular 2 nm Junction between the Cell Membranes of Cells. The gap in a Gap Junction is not void but contains subunits in the form of polygonal lattices. Gap Junctions are tube-like Proteins that pierce the Cell Membranes of adjoining Cells.
