Overview
Extracellular Fluid (ECF) is the collective term for Blood Plasma and Interstitial Fluid. Blood Plasma comprises 25% of Extracellular Fluid while Interstitial Fluid comprises 75% of Extracellular Fluid. Extracellular Fluid comprises approximately 20% of total body weight.
