Vitamins

 The Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P-5-P) form of Vitamin B6 (25 - 50 mg 4 times per day administered by injection for 8 - 10 days) may restore normal levels of Hemoglobin in persons afflicted with Sideroblastic Anemia - it is speculated that Sideroblastic Anemia occurs due to defective phosphorylation of dietary forms of Vitamin B6 into the biologically active Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate form of Vitamin B6.  [1]
