Description

Mesterolone is a type of Androstenedione-derivative, Aromatase Inhibitor, Androgenic (but not Anabolic) Steroid, Pharmaceutical Drug.

 

Actions of Mesterolone

 Mesterolone binds to Androgen Receptors and causes Androgenic (masculinizing) effects.

 Mesterolone has a high affinity with Androgen Receptors in Skeletal Muscle - when it binds to these Androgen Receptors it displaces other Steroids but produces no Anabolic effect (it may therefore inhibit Muscle Growth).

 

Unofficial Usage of Mesterolone

Musculoskeletal System

 Mesterolone is used by some male bodybuilders to prevent Gynecomastia.
