Stabilium

Stabilium is a dietary supplement composed of an extract of the Viscera of certain deep-sea Fish (Garum Armoricum) combined with Sunflower Oil and Lecithin.

Stabilium was developed by neolithic occupants of the western region of France and further refined by Celtic Druids and adopted by the Romans as a broad-spectrum “elixir”.

This “elixir” has been studied scientifically and some of its traditional uses have been validated by modern methods.  The underlying theory that accounts for the superior therapeutic properties of this fish compared to other fish is based on the knowledge that Garum Armoricum survives in a highly stressful environment that other fish cannot survive in.  Garum Armoricum normally lives at great depths in the ocean in an environment that involves extremely low temperatures, low Oxygen levels and extreme pressure.  It has evolved a specialized physiology that allows it to survive these stresses.  This same physiology that permits survival at great depths would normally hinder the ability of the fish to rise to the surface as the altered surface environment would cause tremendous cellular shock and injury to an fish swimming up to the oxygen-rich surface water.  Garum Armoricum has evolved a system of Antioxidants, Fatty Acids and Neuropeptides that inhibit oxidative reactions, thereby permitting the fish to survive in both environments.
