Pancreatin
Description
Pancreatin is a type of Animal Organ Extract (Glandular Extract) prepared from the Pancreas of animals containing the same enzymes that are found in human Pancreatic Juice. Pancreatin is used as a supplemental form of Pancreatic Enzymes.
Pancreatin is usually prepared from porcine (pig) sources. Porcine Pancreatin is three to five times as potent as bovine (cow) Pancreatin.
