Tadalafil enhances the activity of Cyclic GMP. Tadalafil inhibits the Phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) enzyme that in turn inhibits cyclic GMP activity. By inhibiting PDE5 activity, cyclic GMP is able to persist in its activity.
