Nasal Transmucosal Delivery Compared to Inhalation Delivery
Nasal Transmucosal Delivery differs from Inhalation in that Nasal Transmucosal Delivery requires the (therapeutic) substance to be in exclusive contact with the Nasal Mucosa while Inhalation involves the transport of substances through the Olfactory Tract into the Brain, although there is some unavoidable Nasal Transmucosal Delivery associated with Inhalation.
