MMDA is a type of (illegal) Methylenedioxy Amphetamine Designer Drug, Catecholamine-like Psychedelic Drug that is also classified as an Amphetamine-Derivative. Although MMDA can be artificially synthesized, it is usually extracted by simple steam distillation from Nutmeg or from Nutmeg's Psychedelic constituents (Myristicin or Elemicin).
