Persons Who Exercise Should Avoid Concurrent Consumption of these Substances

Hormones

Cortisol may increase the quantity of Glutamine that is “leached” from Muscle Fibers during and following Intensive Exercise.

Prescribed Medications

Aspirin should not be consumed during the 12 hour period prior to intense Exercise (such as running) - the combination of Exercise and Aspirin substantially may increase the permeability of the Stomach and Intestines (by damaging the Gastric Mucosa and Intestinal Wall) - this increased permeability may permit Antigens to gain entry into the bloodstream more easily.  [1]
