Terminal Hairs are large, darkly pigments, and medullated Hairs. The Hair on the Scalp is ideally Terminal Hair (as opposed to Vellus Hair). Ninety percent of the Hair on the chest, trunk, shoulders, legs and arms of men are Terminal Hairs, whereas only 4,500 of the Hairs in the same regions on women are Terminal Hairs.
